A taxi may be hailed, a VTC may not
That is the fundamental difference: with a parking licence, a taxi takes passengers on the fly, in its zone. Outside the zone, it falls back to prior booking and must keep the proof.
The fare receipt, from €25
For every ride of €25 or more, the order of 6 November 2015 requires handing the passenger a receipt: taxi identification, date, price, and itemised extras. VTBON issues the receipt with the meter excluding extras, tariffs A, B, C, D and the itemised extras, by voice or keyboard.
The out-of-zone proof of booking
For a booked pickup outside the parking zone, the order of 6 August 2025 (art. L.3121-11 of the French Transport Code) requires a proof of prior booking. VTBON issues it with the ADS number and home town, and follows on with the fare receipt once the ride is done.

You state your status once. The minimum pickup fare shows automatically, documents carry your ADS and your town, and invoices follow, just as for a VTC.

What is the taxi fare receipt, and when is it mandatory?
The fare receipt (order of 6 November 2015) is handed to the passenger for every ride of €25 or more, notably when hailed. For a booking outside the parking zone, the taxi also produces a proof of prior booking (art. L.3121-11). VTBON's taxi mode issues the right document for the situation, with the ADS number and home town.
How do I fill in a VTC voucher quickly, between two rides?
You dictate it. VTBON names the field, you answer: pickup, drop-off, passenger name, date, time, price. It reads back what it understood, you say yes, and the voucher leaves by WhatsApp, SMS or email. Your hands stay on the wheel.
What if I lose the network?
A network drop never blocks you: you create, view and print your vouchers and invoices; everything syncs as soon as the connection is back. VTBON is a cloud application — your documents live on servers in Europe, not only in your phone.
Is my data secure?
Your vouchers and invoices are backed up on servers hosted in the European Union, in line with the GDPR. Change phones, find everything again. The website uses no advertising cookie or tracker; the app keeps no audio recording.
